With offices in Cleveland, Ohio and Lafayette, Indiana, Romarco USA is the US master dealer for Romarco S.A.S., the highest quality global supplier of trailers and equipment in South America.
Romarco USA is owned and operated by an American ownership group that brings over 50 years of combined trailer experience, not just in the sale of new equipment, but in the manufacturing and distribution of heavy duty truck and trailer parts. We know the equipment, but equally important, we understand the running gear and fabricated components that go into the trailers themselves.
All sales, post-sales support, and warranty conversations and operations take place out of Cleveland or Lafayette.
Romarco S.A.S.
Founded in greater Cali, Colombia in 1980 by two German trained engineers, Romarco started building equipment for the sugar industry, seeing a need for more robust hopper trailers in the fields around Cali. Entrance into the mining sector followed soon after, followed by a revolutionary design of single beam drop trailers for the beverage industry.
As local market penetration grew, so did the map. As the map grew, so did the need for additional products. And with additional products, so came added technology. Flatbeds were added. Robotic submerged arc beam welders were added. Drybulk pneumatics were added. CNC aluminum rolling was added. Stainless airport refuelers were added. Hydroforming was added. And on and on…
Today, Romarco’s plant covers a half million square feet with 500 employees utilizing advanced technology across every inch of it. Laser cutting, CNC bending and rolling, hydroforming, robotic welding, blast and paint facilities, and a standalone engineering department with in-house FEA and testing facilities. Whether the project is the simplest of 48’ combo flats or the most complex of drop beam heavy hauls, steering bomb carts, or a mammoth 2,000 cube dry-bulk pneumatic, Romarco S.A.S. can design it and build it, and Romarco USA has the expertise to land it where you need it.
